Gulitti Wins A Dragster at Fall Fling Opener

BRISTOL – The 9th Annual Fall Fling kicked off on Tuesday with a Test & Tune along with a Dragster Shootout Race.  In the Shootout, racers were competing for one of two dragster chassis as both the winner and runner-up would walk away with a brand new digger.  The winner could choose from either a Race Tech or American Race Cars dragster while the runner-up would have to settle with the left overs.

Arguably the hottest driver in sportsman drag racing Cory Gulitti kicked off the Fling with a runner-up in the Shootout to pick up a new Race Tech whip.  This comes only days after Guilitti dominated the ACE Ohio Event at Dragway 42 where he won a $20k and a $10k on the same night.  What an amazing run this young man has had over the last week.  Gulitti’s recent accomplishments placed him number one on our Top 10 Performances list.

Not to be overshadowed, Thomas Bell actually won the Dragster Shootout with a killer .006 light in the final to take down Gulitti.  Bell picked up a new American Race Cars dragster for his efforts.

What a great way to start the Fling for Bell and Gulitti.  They’ll be free-rolling the rest of the week.

Wednesday’s action will include a $15,000 to win main event, check back daily for more results.
