Will Cauthen Wins Thursday $10K At NOLimit Triple Crown

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The NOLimit Promotions Triple Crown 25’s raced into action on Thursday at the legendary Darlington Dragway with the Hubbard Heating and Cooling $10,000 to win warm up along with a 32 car shootout.

With five cars remaining in the $10K main event there were two doorcars and three dragsters.  The doorcars included footbrake racer Trey Sikes in his Malibu along with Clayton Roberts in his Grand Prix.  Timothy Thomas, Will Cauthen, and Michael Shoop rounded out the top five in their dragsters.

Cauthen disposed of Sikes, Shoop took out Thomas, and Clayton Roberts had a bye to the semifinals.  In the semifinals Shoop disposed of the doorcar of Roberts to insure an all-dragster final round while Cauthen earned the bye to the final round.

In the final it would be Will Cauthen collecting the $10,000 winner’s check after he defeated Michael Shoop.

In addition to the $10K on Thursday, the Triple Crown also included a 32 Car High Roller Shootout.  Will Holloman and Chris Reynolds earned final round berths but instead of racing for the cash, they decided to split the final and pose for pictures instead.
