Richmond $10 Grand Slam Race Results April 2019
The twice annual VP Race Fuels $10 Grand Slam wrapped up another successful race last weekend. In all, over 240 entries attending the two-day event. The popular event included two $10,000 to win bracket races for a $225 weekend entry.
In addition to the main events, the $10 Grand Slam featured Gamblers races after 3rd round on Saturday and Sunday. They even threw in a High Rollers Gamblers race on Saturday night.
The Richmond Dragway crew did a fantastic job of preparing the track each morning after overnight rains hit on Friday and Saturday night. Due to a lot of hard work, the crew was able to prep the track and keep the race on schedule.

Even with over 680 runs down the track on Saturday, the race was completed just after 10 PM. Sunday’s champion was crowned at 5 PM. Hats off to the track crew for giving the racers a great racing surface along with keeping the action moving.

High Roller Gamblers Race – Bob Murphy defeated Wyatt Colbert


Sunday Race Results
Main Event – Herb Bailey handed Bruce Sisk his second runner up finish of the weekend.


Gamblers Race – Shaun Smithdeal defeated Mike Galati


The VP Race Fuels $10 Grand Slam returns to Richmond Dragway later this season. The big money bracket race is scheduled for November 1-3.
