5th Annual New Year Nationals returns to PBIR

The 5th Annual New Year Nationals presented by RT Promotions returns to Palm Beach International Raceway December 27th- 29th, 2019.

JUPITER, FL – The New Year Nationals will take place at Palm Beach International Raceway for its fifth annual year. The event will feature three days of high dollar bracket racing to celebrate the new year.

On Saturday and Sunday, racers will compete for $10,000 in Box and No-Box classes. Junior Dragster racers will also have two opportunites to race for $1,500 during the weekend.

Gates open Friday morning and they will kick off the weekend with three separate $5,000 to win 64-car shootouts. There will be shootouts for Box, No-Box, and Junior Dragsters.

After the shootouts are finished, a golf cart race presented by Ivey Hutto Golf Carts will take place to help round out the evening. The winner will receive a $300 cash prize.

There will be a racers appreciation party on Saturday night and a Junior Dragster age out award ceremony on Sunday morning.

Two-time Box winner, Donovan Williams said, “It’s one of my favorite races because it is a great mixture of competition that we usually don’t see this far South.” He also added, “It is a race a lot of people look forward to year after year”.

Last year winners include, Stephen “Champ” McCroy, Troy Stafford, Gage Burch, Kenny Underwood, Tucker Creech, Chad Duke, Caraline McCarty and Aaron Reynolds.
