Beard, Bowman, and Donell Cash in at Quaker City

Michael Beard, Nick Bowman, and Mike Donell led the list of winners at the Quaker City Big Buck Nationals 2!

SALEM, OH. – The second round of the Quaker City Big Buck Nationals went down on Aug. 23-25 at Quaker City Motorsports Park. Racer’s lined up for a shot at a $5K-$10K-$5K weekend in both the Box and No-Box classes.

By Sunday evening, several familiar names had graced the winners circle including Michael Beard, Nick Bowman, and Mike Donell. Beard made three finals on the weekend and won the Saturday $5K 64-car Shootout.

This comes on the heels of his two runner up finishes at the first Big Buck Nationals just weeks earlier. Nick Bowman picked up the $5K No-Box win on Friday after earning a runner up finish at the last Big Buck event in July.

Mike Donell showed out for the second week in a row by winning Friday’s $5K Box race and earning a runner up in Saturday’s $10K Box event. This impressive performance comes on the heels of his $25K win a week earlier at the SFG Buckeye Bracket Bash.

Beard’s weekend earned him the top spot on the DragChamp Top 10 List. Donell’s impressive seven-day run also earned him a spot on the coveted List. See the full Top 10 List here.
