Matt has enjoyed one of the most successful seasons in drag racing history and he’s doesn’t look to be slowing down. Matt’s recent run started at the SFG 500 when Gage Burch drove his Danger Ranger to the $500K win.

Matt followed with several wins of his own before making the final of the Fall Fling 500K! After a runner up there, Matt has made finals and picked up wins seemingly every weekend.

Last week Matt had another big weekend at the Norwalk Halloween Classic. He won the $5K Super Pro main event, was runner up in Wednesday’s Gamblers race, and won the overall Grand Champion runoff.

With the Million coming up this weekend, Matt sure looks to be the favorite to take home another massive payday!

Both the NHRA and the IHRA crowned World Champs over the weekend.

Allison drove to Rockingham trailing Joe Santangelo in the NHRA Stock standings. When she left the event, Allison was holding her 5th Wally of the season and took over the national points lead as well! All of this occurred on her birthday weekend which made it even better!

While the World Championship may not be locked down just yet, her 689 points should easily hold up for the championship!

4 – Vic Penrod

Another NHRA racer that came up big over the weekend was Vic Penrod. Penrod needed a good showing at the Fall Nationals in order to take over the Super Stock national points lead. Vic did that and more by winning his second national event of the season in his third final round appearance.

Penrod will now play the waiting game to see if his 637 points will hold up for the championship.

5 – Back-to-back in Big “D”

Casey Plaizier and Brandon Bakies went back-to-back at the AAA Texas Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex. Canadian based Plaizier won Super Gas for the second consecutive season at the famed Texas facility while Bakies won Stock this year after taking the Super Stock win in 2018.
