GABR $50K and All State Challenge Race Results

Final race results from the Great American $50,000 Bracket Race and All State Challenge from Memphis International Raceway.

MEMPHIS – The Great American $50,000 Bracket Race and All State Challenge rolled through Memphis International Raceway on Sept. 5-8. The big money bracket race consisted of a $10K/$50K/$10K weekend for the top bulb racers while bottom bulb competitors competed for $5K/$10K/$5K.

In addition to the Moser Engineering GABR $50K, racers competed in teams for a shot at the SDPC Raceshop All State Challenge title.

Friday GABR Race Results

Jesse Bobo kicked off the weekend with a $10,000 victory over Josh Burrow in the Top Bulb final round.

In the Bottom Bulb final round, Bobo Marshall claimed the $5,000 win after defeating SFG 500 champ Gage Burch in the final. Marshall was exceptional on Friday as he took two entries down to three cars before ultimately winning the race.

Saturday GABR Race Results

Business picked up on Saturday with the Moser Engineering $50,000 to win main event. Matthew Richard was holding the winners check at the end of the night after defeating NHRA Super Class star Jack Collier in the final round.

Cody Barnhart, the “next big thing” according to DragChamp blogger Brody Quick, claimed the $10,000 Bottom Bulb win on Saturday after defeating David Bell.

SDPC Raceshop All State Challenge Results

In addition to the Moser Engineering $50K on Saturday, the All State Challenge team-based race crowned champions as well.

In the Top Bulb finals, Team Payne defeated Team Castanedo to claim bragging rights and the winners purse. Team Payne consisted of Jesse Bobo, Jeff Bobo, Corey Glidewell, Rusty Ashmore, and Charles Freeman.

On the Bottom Bulb side, Team 4 Bad Dudes and an Axford claimed the big win over Team Olinde. The winning team consisted of red-hot Chad Axford, Kyle Rumley, Slick Rick Baehr, Timmy Elliot, and Tommy Jackson.

Sunday GABR Race Results

On day number last of the huge bracket racing weekend, the McKague brothers and Rick Baehr would put on a show. Jason McKague claimed the final $10K check of the weekend after winning the Top Bulb class.

His brother Jeremy also went to the final round in the Bottom Bulb class. There he would fall to Rick Baehr who had an outstanding day. Baehr took two entries down to three cars where he ran himself. He came back and defeated McKague for the $5K vitctory.

And that puts a wrap on the 2019 Moser Engineering GABR $50K bracket race and SDPC Raceshop All State Challenge. The GABR team has big things on the horizon after announcing the Great American Guaranteed $1,000,000 race in 2020. Click here to read more.
