Great American Million coming to Memphis in 2020

The Great American Bracket Race has upped the ante for 2020 as they present the guaranteed $1,000,000 at Memphis International Raceway.

After a wildly successful Memorial Day event at Memphis in 2019, race promoters Britt Cummings and Gaylon Rolison are looking to make history in 2020.

With a guaranteed $1,000,000 bracket race scheduled for Memorial Day 2020, they will do something that’s never been done in drag racing. They will have a true $1,000,000 bracket race.

The entry fee will be $3,000 for a shot at history. Double entries are allowed and dragsters and doorcars will compete separately.

The big dollar bracket race will include several accompanying races to bookend the guaranteed million dollar race. Racing begins on Wednesday with test and tune and specialty shootout races.

Friday’s action includes the first of three Triple $40K’s over the weekend. The Triple $40K’s are sponsored by Moser Engineering.

Friday and Saturday’s schedule are reserved for the $1,000,000 main event. After the million wraps up on Saturday, there will be shootouts, a golf cart race, and the FTI Performance Racer’s Party.

Sunday and Monday’s schedule includes races #2 and #3 of the Moser Triple $40K’s.

The Great American Guaranteed $1,000,000 is capped at 450 entries. In addition to the limited number of entries, no gate entries will be accepted. This means you must pre-register for this history making event.
