Hoosier Halloween Hustle Jr. Race comes to US 41

Hoosier Halloween Hustle Junior Dragster event comes to US 41 Dragstrip October 18-20, 2019

MOROCCO, IN – The Halloween Hustle Junior Dragster event presented by Hoosier Racing Tires will take place at US 41 Dragstrip on October 18-20, 2019. 

The event kicks off with gates opening at 12 PM on Friday, a separate test and tune will take place from 1 PM to 5PM . To start off the racing portion of the weekend, the gamblers race will take place Friday night. This event is open to all ages with time runs starting at 5 PM sharp and 1st round at 6 PM. The entry fee is $30 with buybacks for first or second round set at $20 time permitting. 

Halloween Hustle Trophies

The second time run of the day will feature the VP Racing Run for the Drum. For $10, you can race for a 55-gallon drum of methanol for first place, 5qts of Lucas Oil Jr. 5W20 for second place, and a 2.5-gallon fuel jug for third place.

Saturday main events will have separate classes for 11.90 and 8.90 until down to one car. These winner will receive bonus money and will be rolled into the main field of older kids. The 11.90 winners will receive a cool 2.5 gallon fuel jug from Jegs Performance with 8.90 featuring world leading tire pressure gauges from Intercomp. 

Buy backs will only take place first round for $25 for all classes, these cars will move on directly to round 2. The overall winner of each race will receive a check for $750, a gift certificate from Hoosier Racing Tire and a prize package featuring Lucas Oil products.

Rounding out the Jr Dragster racing for Saturday; the Renewable Lubricants Turtle Race where each competitor will attempt to match the random slow dial. There will be no entry fee for this event, the winner will receive $100 for their efforts and a prize package.

The Renewable Lubricants Pit Vehicle race will also be taking place Saturday night. The entry fee is $30 with first or second round buy backs set at $20. Double entries are permitted in the pit vehicle race, each driver may only go down the track once per round. The winner will feature cash and a prize package from Renewable Lubricants.

On Sunday morning the Hoosier Racing High Roller Shootout will feature 16 cars racing for $1250 to the winner. This shootout is open to all ages, there will be no buy backs and entry fee is $150. The Hoosier Racing Low Roller Shootout will feature 16 racers between the ages 6-12 with an 8.90 minimum dial.  These young racers will for claim their stake of $600 to the winner with $75 entry fee and no buy backs. Both shootout winners will receive a gift certificate from Hoosier Racing Tire.

Sunday’s main event will be an age group race with three separate classes: Jegs Performance 11.90 (6 to 9), Intercomp Racing 8.90 (10 to 12) and Lucas Oil 7.90 (13-17). The winner of all three classes will receive a gift certificate from Hoosier Racing Tires, $500 cash and an Ironman Classic trophy. The 11.90 winners will receive a cool 2.5 gallon fuel jug from Jegs Performance with 8.90 featuring world leading tire pressure gauges from Intercomp.
