Howard Continues Winning Streak At Texas Triple Tens Presented By Reliable Air

ENNIS – Gates opened Thursday morning for the Texas Triple Tens at the Tex as Motorplex presented by Reliable Air.

Racers were able to park and hang out at the Texas Triple Tens Practice Tree Race in the Pavillion. Lucas Walker took home the first place pot of cash as he defeated John Leibham in the final. 

It was great to see such a strong start to the season as locals and out of town racers showed up at the Texas Motorplex to the Texas Triple Ten’s presented by Reliable Air.

With $10,000 on the line for electronics, and $5,000 in no electronics, over 196 cars went down the track in electronics and 86 in no electronics during first round.

In the electronics class Chad Sandlin was able to race his way through tough competition and into the Winner Circle. After laying down a perfect package to secure himself a spot in the final Chad was able to take the win over Bob Henry in the final round.

In no electronics, Jake Howard continued his 2018 streak as he sat on the buy in the semi-final round for one entry and was able to defeat Jeff Hefler in his second entry.

Ultimately Howard had to face himself in the final round securing the big check for $5,000 as well as the runner-up in Friday’s Main Event.
