Loose Rock Colonial Classic returns to VMP

6th Annual Flatout Gaskets Colonial Classic presented by Calvert Kettle Corn returns to Virginia Motorsports Park Aug. 2-4, 2019.

After a wildly successful event at Virginia Motorsports Park earlier this year, the team from Loose Rocker Promotions returns to VMP. In March, the St. Patrick’s Classic hosted 593 racers across two classes at VMP.

In August, Loose Rocker returns with the same format from earlier in the year with the 6th Annual Colonial Classic. The 5K-10K-5K weekend offers racers a shot at big money bracket racing for a low weekend entry of $290. The event includes racing in Footbrake and Top ET with both classes offering the same great payouts.

In addition to the large winners purse, winners also receive big checks and the coveted Loose Rocker Eagle trophies. Flatout Gaskets and Calvert Kettle Corn are the primary sponsors of the 1/8 mile bracket racing weekend.

Another great feature of the Loose Rocker events is they pay $100 round money in all three races. Round money payouts start with third round winners in day.

The Colonial Classic also includes a live feed by Motormania TV along with a racer appreciation party and a test and tune on Thursday afternoon.

For racers in attendance on Thursday, there will be a Legendary 64 Shootout on Thursday night. For a $200 entry, racers will compete for a $5,000 payday.
