Drew Porcher & Adam Davis Take Home Big Checks At The Footbrake 150 Presented by BTE
Footbrake racers from around the country traveled to Gulfport Dragway this past weekend for the Savage Performance Footbrake 150 presented by BTE. After fighting through a tough field of competition Drew Porcher and Adam Davis were able to take home the big $15,000 check Saturday and Sunday.
Race promoter Gaylon Rolison Jr. put together a fun-packed weekend of racing giving racers a lot of opportunities to take home big money. The weekend began Friday night with Luke Siebert taking the win over Street Outlaw New Orleans Driver Scott Taylor in Friday Night’s Gamblers Race.
Before the main event on Saturday racers were able to purchase an entry into the BTE Best Package Benefit Challenge, where Gerald Breaux won a BTE Top Sportsman Transmission. Thanks to all of the participants in the BTE Best Package Benefit Challenge they were able to raise over $1,100 to go to benefit the Memorial Hospital Breast Imaging Fund Foundation.
Texas local Drew Porcher traveled all the way to Gulfport, Mississippi to race fellow Texan Jake Howard in the final of Saturday’s Main Event. Porcher laid down a .021 pack to take the win over Howard in the final.
As the weekend continued “Nasty” Nick Hastings took home two big checks after winning the No Guts No Glory $8,000 Race and one of Saturday night’s gambler’s races.
Tristian Sholar also took the win in the other Gambler’s race Saturday night.
Racing continued into Sunday morning and Nick Kay won the “Out the Gate” race, where racers competed for $1,500 with no time trials before competition.
The Savage Performance Footbrake 150 presented by BTE finished up Sunday with perfect weather, $25 buybacks, and Adam Davis winning the $15,000 Big Check by defeating Cody Barnhart in the final round of the weekend.
After another great event in the book, make sure you mark your calendars for the 4th Annual Footbrake 150 in 2020.
