Shane Maddox followed up a successful Fall Fling 500K with a $5K victory at the 2nd Annual Ivey Hutto Golf Carts Carolina Fab $5K.
GREER, SC – The 2nd Annual Ivey Hutto Golf Cart Sales Carolina Fab $5K raced to conclusion on September 28th at Greer Dragway. The event, hosted by multi-time world champion Kevin Brannon, included a $5,000-to-win main event along with a 48-car dragster shootout.
The race was supported by sponsors such as VP Race Fuels, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Maddox Race Cars, and This is Bracket Racing Elite.
$5K Main Event
The Super Pro main event final came down to the aforementioned Shane Maddox and Dylan Coggins. There Maddox took the win and continued his recent hot-streak that began at the Fall Fling 500K.
48-Car Dragster Shootout
One of the highlights of the race included the Maddox Race Cars dragster shootout. 48 racers competed for a chance to win a new dragster.
The final round included Joe Gary and Jeremy Hancock. Gary was coming off a big win at the IHRA Summit Team Finals in Darlington. Hancock was also riding a hot hand after winning $30K at the Fall Fling 500K a week earlier.
Gary kept his win streak alive after downing Hancock in the shootout final.

Jr. Dragster Results
In addition to the main event and shootout, Kevin offered the Jr. racers a shot at a $150 payday. Kristen Brady claimed the win after defeating Harrison Crawford in the final round.
Jackie Allen won the Dash for Cash collecting $530 for his efforts.
