The 3rdAnnual Charlie Stewart Race Cars Cowtown Winter Throwdown Practice Tree Race will take place Saturday, January 4th, 2020 in Kennedale, Texas.
The event, led by Ryan Gleghorn and former Million Dollar Race Winner Nathan Martin, will pay $5,000 to win in the main event.
It will be held in Kennedale, Texas and will also included two new shootouts this year. One, 32-person shootout and one, 16-person bottom bulb shootout.
“We have changed our shootouts up this year.” says promoter, Ryan Gleghorn. “Instead of our usual 32 Shootout we’ve replaced it with an event that is sure to bring top quality competition to the table.”
The 32-person shootout winner will pick up a big check for $2,000 and a Great American Guaranteed Million Entry thanks to Britt Cummings and Gaylon Rolison Jr.
The 16-person bottom bulb shootout winner will receive $700 and an entry to the Labor Day 100K in Bristol next summer thanks to World Footbrake Challenge promoters, Jared Pennington and Steve Stites.
The Cowtown Winter Throwdown also offers a $200 prize to the last remaining bottom bulb competitor.
Also new for this year, every racer who attends this event will get an entry into Jake Hodge’s Final Call Promotions Working Man 10 Grands next summer. The winner of the DragCoverage $5K will get free buybacks with the entry.
Furthermore, Ryan mentioned there is plenty of parking, even for motorhomes. Also, Charlie Stewart Race Cars will supply food and water for the event.
