Winners Crowned at SFG Buckeye Bracket Bash
Scott Taylor, Megan Lotts, Jeremy Kessler, and Mike Donell cash in at the 2nd Annual SFG Buckeye Bracket Bash at Dragway 42.
WEST SALEM, OHIO – The 2nd Annual SFG Promotions Buckeye Bracket Bash rolled into Dragway 42 on August 8-11. Racers flocked to Ohio chasing big paydays that are the hallmark of SFG events.

The event offered racers a shot at $15K on Thursday, $50K on Friday, $75K on Saturday, and $25K on Sunday. There was also a 32-car $2K shootout where the winner received a free entry into the SFG Million on July 4, 2020.
Thursday $15K Warmup
Scott Taylor drove his ’67 Camaro roadster to the win over Randy Sheuer Jr. In the final, Taylor was .004 and dead eight to grab the $15K win. Sheuer was .012 and -.003 under in the loss.
Semifinalists included Kyle Cultrera and D. Hall.



Friday $50K Results
Megan Lotts became the first female to win a SFG main event. Lotts earned the massive payday after defeating Chris Koslek in the final round. Megan let go .006 and ran dead on her 4.89 dial to claim the historic victory. Although Koslek posted a dead on 5.892, his .026 reaction left him mathematically ineliglble.
Semifinalists included Nick Folk and Amanda Manuel.


There was also a 32-car Shootout on Saturday night which paid $2,000 to win. On top of that, the winner also received an entry into the SFG Million on July 4, 2020.
Kevin Pollard grabbed the win and the free entry to the SFG Million.

Saturday $75K Results
On the Saturday schedule was the largest paying race of the weekend. Racers raced for a shot at a $75,000 payday. In the doorcar versus dragster final, Jeremy Kessler drove his doorcar to the win over Carl Drake Jr.
Kessler was .011 take .004 to earn the $75,000 victory. Drake, driving his 4.2-second dragster was .009 at the tree but came up short on the big end after running .020 over his 4.25 dial in. Kessler posted a 5.464 on his 5.45 dial.
Semifinalists included Friday runner up Chris Koslek and Gary Williams.

Sunday $25K Results
Racers had one last shot at glory before heading home on Sunday as a $25,000 win race was on tap. In another doorcar versus dragster final round, Mike Donell claimed the big win over red-hot Chris Bear. Bear let go -.0011 too soon handing the $25,000 paycheck to Donell.
Semifinalists included Sean Serra and Chris Mancini.
