$40 Grand Nationals | Summit Motorsports Park

The MUST ATTEND sportsman race Labor Day Weekend (August 30 – September 1, 2019) will pay out over a Quarter Million Dollars! 

The $40 Grand Nationals presented by Hughes Performance, formerly the $10 Grand Nationals which was in its 27th year, is set for Aug. 30-Sept. 1, 2019.

Only 425 enteries will be accepted, so do not delay PRE-REGISTER TODAY!

The total payout for the event is an enticing $262,875. On Friday, the payout is $72,625 with $15,000 to win, while on Saturday, the payout is $110,125 with $40,000 to win and on Sunday, the payout is $80,125 with $20,000 to win. Buy-backs will be available for the first round of eliminations for $150, and payouts begin in the third round of eliminations.

The number of entries will be limited to 425 and the three-day fee is $600 for car and driver, $50 for adult non-drivers and $10 for children ages 6-12. The entry fee can be split into three payments of $200 each.

The event will be contested on the eighth-mile, and popular products from a host of supportive sponsors will be given away.

I’m very excited about the future of both of these events!”

$40 Grand Nationals Pre-Entry

Summit Motorsports Park is offering racers a chance to split the entry fee into payments by pre-registering for the event. The Summit Flex Fee allows racers to pay $200 at pre-registration, $200 by May 1 and the final $200 on August 1.

Registration can be handled in person at the track office, faxed to 419-663-0502, emailed to Ebader@SummitMotorsportsPark.com, or mailed to 1300 State Route 18, Norwalk OH 44857.

Race will be run on the 1/8 mile
*  Time break 0 – 9.09
*  Delay Boxes Permitted
*  Crosstalk will be Utilized
*  TruSTART will be Utilized
*  No Down Track Throttle Stops
*  Air Throttles and Mechanical Throttle Stops as a Launch Control Only!
*  No Computers!  
*  A Driver and/or a car can only go down the racetrack twice per round!
*  No tricks on Tree
*  Compulink Timing System
*  Buyback for Round 1 losers Only – $150/day
*  No Gold Cards
*  No Refunds
*  Motorcycles can compete!
