Bruno Massel wins Comp at 2019 Heartland Nationals
NHRA Announcer and TV personality Bruno Massel claims win #14 at the Heartland Nationals.
TOPEKA – Former world champion Bruno Massel claimed his 14th NHRA national event win today at the Heartland Nationals. Massel defeated Shaun Vincent in the Competition Eliminator final round.

In the final round, Massel was near-perfect posting a .005 reaction to take control of the race. His -.0486 under 6.764 eclipsed Vincent’s -.0536 under 8.404 by about eight feet at the stripe.

The win increased Massel’s final round record to 14 wins and five losses.
After defeating Kevin Self in round one, Massel’s next three opponents fouled-out allowing him to cruise into his 19th final round.
