Trevor Larson 2019 Heartland Nationals S/ST Champ
Trevor Larson wins NHRA Heartland Nationals Super Street title.
TOPEKA – Talented super class racer Trevor Larson added another Wally to the trophy case at the 2019 NHRA Heartland Nationals. Larson claimed the Super Street victory after defeating a red-lighting Mike Campbell in the final round.

Although this was Larson’s seventh national event victory, it was the first time he had won in the Super Street class. Larson typically competes in a dragster in Super Comp and a Corvette roadster in Super Gas.

After starting eliminations with a .013-pack (.013 RT, 10.900), Larson continued to nail the index. In four of the first five rounds, he was within one hundredth of the index. In addition to a consistent car, Larson drilled the tree with lights ranging from .004 to .016.
The final round was anticlimactic as Campbell let go -.001 too soon.
