The Price is Right returned to Huntsville Dragway over the weekend where Rachel Henderson came out on top with her $35,000 win.
TT’s The Price is Right returned to Huntsville Dragway over the weekend where racers from all over traveled to compete for a chance to win $25,000 on Friday and $35,000 on Sunday.
The original race format was a 20-30-10 but with the threatening weather chances on Sunday, the track decided to split Sunday’s purse over Friday and Saturday. It was to no surprise that the competition was high between the racers!
The final two cars remaining were Bryson Scruggs and Brandon Senseney, both in dragsters. Scruggs had the starting line advantage, .012 to .040, and never trailed Senseney for the win. He went one above his dial-in to take home the trophy.
Semi-finalists were Chase Huffman and Brandon Phillips.
In the $100 entry – winner take all 16-car shootout, teammates Mia Tedesco and Jason Lynch decided to sweep up the night and meet up in the final round. The racers decided not to run the final.
Rachel Henderson and Corey Saint met up in the big final round on Saturday night with Rachel Henderson finding the winner’s circle. She was .020 and ran dead on her dial-in to take the win back home to Athens!
Heath Davis was the semi-finalist.
Braden Taylor also took home the win in junior dragsters.
