WIN MORE with ATMORE opening weekend Results
Cole Cousins and Slate Cummings win big and take home the $5,000 Super Pro checks.
The coronavirus was not about to stop Ben Willis and crew’s opening weekend for the all new WIN MORE with ATMORE bracket series. Guaranteed money, beautiful weather, and the cancelation of a few top notch events packed the house.

Junior Dragster Saturday Results
NHRA points action began Saturday morning with a huge crowd of 40+ Junior Dragsters.
In the 6-9 year olds, when the dust settled, it was Tyler Nunez continuing his unbelievable season with a win over Lincoln McMaster.

In the 10 – 12 year olds, it was Brylie Sexton taking the win for the “Blonde Mafia” over Gulfport, MS’s own Zach Pearce.

In the 13 and Up, it was an all FTI Farmteam final with Wyatt “Big Poppa” Palmatier taking the win over the current KOC champion Cameron Willis.

No Box Saturday Results
After the Jrs cleared the track, it was time for the big cars to show out. First up in No Box, it was the old Creek Bank Cousin “Hot Rod” Rodney Finchum from the Fast N Finchum out of KY taking the win over Wilbur Baxley in Josh Ray’s beautiful Chevy II.

Super Pro Saturday Results
In Super Pro, a huge crowd of 100+ battled it out for the $5,000 guaranteed first place prize. At the end of the night, two familiar faces faced off in the final. It was Cole Cousins in the Dueces Wild Chevy II taking the win over the dragcoverage.com dragster of “Heart Attack” Brandon Taylor.

Sportsman Saturday Results
Also that night, the Sportsman class took the track. It was Daniel Biggs taking the win over Carl Schaefer.

Jr. Street Saturday Results
Saturday also produced the all new, exciting, first ever Jr. Street class at Atmore Dragway. Aiden Brown took the win over Brayden Rampy.

Sunday Results
It was a great and exciting day with 7 classes and 300+ cars with the final being run at 10:30 pm. It was a great job by Ben Willis, his crew, and the staff of Atmore Dragway.
After a few short hours of sleep, Sunday morning opened with a nondenominational church service brought to you by Pastor Mark Zeladonis.
Junior Dragster Sunday Results
With only a few short new entry time trials, the Jr. Dragster class was back at it. At the end of the 6-9 year olds, it was Lawson Scott taking out first time ever racer Anna Molly Evans.

In the 10-12 year olds, it was Brylie “Burley Jackson” Sexton with the weekend double up win over Maddie Chesne.

For the 13 and Up group, Dylan Hite took the win over defending track champ, Lane Scott.

No Box Sunday Results
Moving on to No Box, it was team Nex Gens Chris Martin in his beautiful wheel-standing Manza taking the win over Opie Pearce.

Super Pro Sunday Results
Then, in Super Pro, ole Baby Gap himself, Slate Cummings, took out Freddie Fails.

Sportsman Sunday Results
And, finally in Sportsman, it was Calvin Mason taking the win over Charles McDonald.

All in all, it was a very successful weekend for the first WIN MORE with ATMORE bracket series at Atmore Dragway.
Ben and the gang are scheduled to return for Event 2 on April 17, 18, and 19. Make plans to be at Atmore Dragway and dial ’em in, strap in, an put ’em in the beams. Let’s go racing and WIN MORE with ATMORE.
