DragChamp Jr. Top 10 List – 9/23/20 Edition

Killer Cole Foster makes three finals in one day to lead the Top 10. Trinitie Sandlin doubles up in a dually and Hayden Land wins big at Atlanta Dragway. Find all the details in the DragChamp Top 10 List.

DragChamp Jr. Top 10 List – 09/23/20

1 – Cole Foster

Cole Foster pulled off an amazing feat on Saturday by going to three final rounds in one day. Foster’s big day came at the SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series race at Pine Valley Raceway in Texas. Cole drove to the finals against some of the toughest competition Texas has to offer. Great job on your big day!

2 – Trinitie Sandlin

Trinitie Sandlin, also known as #1, drove her dad’s dually to the Jr. Street win on Saturday and Sunday at Abilene Raceway. It was her last weekend of eligibility for the Jr. Street progam and Trinitie made the most of it.

3 – Hayden Land

Hayden Land enjoyed a big weekend at Atlanta Dragway. He won the Run for the Money, then he won the 10-12 age group, and finished up by winning the King of the Track! Land is also the 2020 Silver Dollar Raceway track champ.

4 (tie) – Brian Yerger

Brian Yerger landed in the four spot after locking up his second track championship of the season. Yerger won both the Mooresville and Farmington championships this season.

4 (tie) – Ian Theofelis

Ian Theofelis ages out of juniors this season but goes out on top as the NHRA Division 6 champ! He is also the Bemerton track champ and is leading the Infinity Coach series.

5 (tie) – Matthew Peterson

Matthew Peterson won three of the last four races to secure the Bradenton Motorsports Park track championship! He is also leading the NHRA Division 2 points going into the last race of the year.

5 (tie) – Brady Wolf

Brady Wolf locks down a Top 5 spot after winning not one, but two track championships in 2020. Wolf won the 2020 Byron Dragway championship along with repeating as the Cordova track champ!

6 – Dylan Carr

Danger Dylan Racing is picking up the Jr. thing quickly. In his last two outings, Dylan scored two runner-up finishes along with a semifinal.

7 – Ashton Halas

Competing at the IHRA Division 3 Summit Team Finals, 11 year old Ashton Halas made the finals in both the race of champions and the team event. Although he came up short in both finals, that’s still and impressive performance.

8 – Jordon Suckow

Jordon Suckow won the final race of the season at Abilene, Texas to secure his first Wally and the track championship! In the final he defeated Hunter McGary who was competing in his fourth final of his young career.

9 (tie) – Douglas Hughes

Douglas Hughes drove through a super talented All Run Big Money field at the SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series to claim the $1,000 payday! Hughes got better as the rounds progressed and stopped red-hot Cole Foster in the final.

9 (tie) – Karissa Tringhese

Our overwhelming fan favorite this week was Karissa Tringhese. Karissa won the IHRA Division 3 Summit Team Finals to lock down a Top 10 spot this week.

10 – Graeme Rufenacht

Rounding out the list is none other than Mr. Sockposse himself, Graeme Rufenacht. Graeme has enjoyed an amazing season and even topped the Big Car Top 10 List last month! Last week he raced to yet another big win taking the Bracket 330′ win at the SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series in Texas. Gman also earned a semifinal finish that same day.
