While bracket racers chased the Million, the NHRA moved to Houston for the rescheduled Spring Nationals. Those two races dominated this week’s Top 10 List. DragChamp Top 10 List – 10/28/20
1 – Kevin Brannon

One of the most talented drivers in the game marked off a bucket list item at the Million after claiming the $1,000,000 main event victory on Friday. The win was not without some drama as KB faced off with Gary Williams several times at the round of 8 due to timing system issues. If I’m not mistaken, one of the reruns happened with Brannon rolled the beams but Williams backed up to give him another shot at the tree. Class act by two of the best in the business.
2 – Bailey Ferraro

In a super close second this week is Bailey Ferraro. FUG as he’s known, won $5K at the Warm-up on Sunday, was runner-up in the Wednesday $50K, and won the Thursday $50K!
3 – Aaron Stanfield

Aaron Stanfield has enjoyed a ton of success on the NHRA trail in the last two weeks. He won two Wallys in back-to-back weekends in Texas to lock down the three spot. At the NHRA Spring Nationals in Houston, Stanfield won his fourth straight Factory Stock race to lock up the season championship. He then motored to his first NHRA Pro Stock victory as well. In addition to his Factory Stock and Pro Stock victories, Stanfield has enjoyed success this season in Super Stock and Top Dragster as well.
4 – Nick Hastings

Nasty Nick Hastings continues to impress at the highest levels of the sport. Nick collected the first $50,000 check of the week at the Million last Wednesday when he stopped Bailey Ferraro in the final on Wednesday. Nick was also in both of the No-Box final rounds last week.
5 – Tom Dauber

Tom Dauber has enjoyed a successful season chasing the big dollar bracket racing tour collecting wins and late round finishes across the country. At the Million, Dauber came up one win light short of winning the Million. Congrats to the Red Rocket on another great showing!
6 – Jake Ball

Jake Ball has been a heater for the last few weeks. A week ago he won twice over the weekend at two different tracks. This week he added a $5K win to his season scorecard.
7 – Lucas Walker

Lucas Walker was back to doing Lucas Walker things as he ran himself in the final at Jeffers Motorsports Park! His latest shenanigan’s earned him yet another Top 10 showing.

8 – Craig Bourgeois

Craig Bourgeois, who doubled at the Dallas divisional last month, won the NHRA Spring Nationals on Sunday to lock up his second Comp Eliminator world championship.
9 – Chris Dodd

Christopher Dodd, who’s been a mainstay on the Top 10 List this season, officially locked up the NHRA Super Comp championship this weekend. Dodd had a great season that included five wins on the NHRA tour along with a JEGS Allstars runner up.
10 – Gary Williams

The list would not be complete this week unless we gave Gary Williams some love. Gary drove his S-10 to eight cars at the Million before a timing system malfunction ended his day. The sportsman Gary displayed proved why he’s one of the best in the business. After a couple of reruns, Gary lost to eventual winner Brannon but the way he handled the situation was evidence of the champion that he is.
