DragChamp Top 10 List – 05/20/20

1 – Mikey Bloomfield

Mikey Bloomfield drove his S-10 pickup to the $30,000 win at TT’s $10K, $30K, $20K bracket race at Huntsville Dragway. The big dollar bracket ace claimed another big win after Slate Cummings turned it red in the final.

2 – Brittany Ezell LeJeune

While not the Ezell you’re accustomed to seeing in the Top 10, Brittany put on show at Emerald Coast Dragway. She took down both the $5,000 Super Pro win along with the Guaranteed Million Shootout win on the same day! Looks like she’ll have a shoot at earning a million dollar win in October.

3 – Charlie Hardie

Charlie Hardie kicked off the big money bracket racing weekend at Huntsville with a $10,000 win over Nick Gowan on Friday night.

4 – Scott Sanders

Scott Sanders had a huge weekend at Buffalo Valley Dragway in Tennessee. He was runner-up in Friday’s $5K and followed that with a $5K victory on Saturday night.

5 – Slate “Baby Gap” Cummings

The Chosen One showed out in Huntsville where he took Britt’s new whip to the $30K final only to turn it red. The win didn’t come easy as Slate had to change converters three times over the weekend to get the new ride dialed-in. Hey Britt…he got it!

6 – Austin Richardson

Austin Richardson extended his recent hot streak with yet another final. After winning at Ardmore a few weeks ago, he’s not gone more than a week without making a final. A week after Ardmore, Austin and his brothers made up the semifinals at Clarksville only to split and quit. Last weekend, he once again made the final, this time with Lucas Walker, only to split and quit again.

7 – Stephen Hughes

Former Million Dollar Race winner Stephen Hughes had a solid outing at the Down with the Sickness $10K. Hughes was runner up in both the $20K Main Event and Gamblers race a week ago. Stephen stayed on the list after posting semifinal finish last weekend at Houston Raceway. Two finals and a semi in 8 days is pretty good!

8 – Grame Rufenacht

Gman and the Sock Posse team made three finals at Big Country Raceway in Abilene. Graeme went undefeated in Jr. Street winning both races over the weekend. He also earned a Jr. Dragster runner-up on Saturday.

9 (tie) – Robert Vogler

Robert Vogler rolled through some big fields at Mooresville Dragway to earn a win and a runner-up over the weekend.

9 (tie) – Chase Rampy

Chase Rampy kicked off a double final weekend with a Pro win at Sand Mountain on Friday. On Saturday, he made the 7.0 index final but had to split due to curfew.

10 – Kane Kern

El Diablo Kane Kern had another great outing this time at Emerald Coast Dragway. Kane started the weekend with a runner-up in Friday’s Gamblers race. He then won the 12&Under class on Saturday before defeating the 13&Up winner in a runoff. In 20 rounds, Kane was never behind at the tree!
