Britt Cummings & Gaylon Rolison of Great American Bracket Races presents the SDPC Raceshop Racing Engines Stars and Stripes New Year’s Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering. The three-day event taking place January 14-16, 2022 at No Problem Raceway will give racers multiple opportunities to win some big money and start 2022 off right.

Friday Test & Tune and Gamblers

To kick off the weekend, a $25 Test N’ Tune session will take place from 11am- 3pm. Following Test & Tune, there will be Friday Gamblers Race for both Top Bulb and Bottom Bulb. Top Bulb will be $5,000-to-win and $1,000 for the runner-up. The entry fee will be $100 with a 1st round buyback available for $60. On the other hand, Bottom Bulb will race for $2,000 with runner-up taking home $500. The entry fee will be $50 with a 1st round buyback available for $40.

Top Bulb Competition

On Saturday, Top Bulb racers will compete for a crisp $25,000 with $4,000 to the runner-up. The single day entry fee will be $250 with a 1st round buyback available for $200 if needed. On Sunday, Top Bulb competitors have a shot at $15,000 with $3,000 to the runner-up. The single day entry for Sunday is $150 with a $130 buyback. The Saturday & Sunday weekend entry is just $375 to compete in both days.

Bottom Bulb Competition

Bottom Bulbers are also invited in on the fun! Saturday will offer $10,000-to-win in the Bottom Bulb class and $1,500 to the runner-up. The single day entry will be $150 with a $110 1st round buyback. On Sunday, the purse will be $5,000 with $800 to the runner-up finisher. The single day entry will be $100 and $80 for the buyback. The Saturday & Sunday weekend entry fee for both days of competition is only $200.

Super Team Challenge

The Super Team Challenge presented by Moser Engineering rewards the team- made up of 2 Top Bulb racers & 1 Bottom Bulb racer- with the most round wins for Saturday and Sunday combined. The first place team wins 70% of available purse and 2nd place team wins 30%. The entry fee per team is $250 and the same racer cannot be on multiple teams. There is also no max number of teams. Act fast though- team registration is December 1, 2021 at 6pm at greatamericanbracketraces.com. There is a $50 deposit to register a team.

Wild Cards

Wild Cards will also be available for Top Bulb and Bottom Bulb on Saturday and Sunday. The Wild Cards will be 1 for $10, 2 for $20, or 3 for $25 and there will be separate Wild Cards for each class. Wild Card winners advance to Round 4 and the Wild Card winners can never be the Wait-n-See Bye at any time during the race, even if remaining entries have had bye runs.

Schedule & Admission Prices

Spectators and crew members admission will be $15 per day or $40 for the 3-day pass. Kids 10 & under are FREE! Gates will open at 9am on Friday morning with Test & Tune beginning at 11am- 3pm with the Gamblers race to follow. On Saturday, gates open at 8am with time runs starting at 9am and first round the follow. On Sunday, gates also open at 8am with new entry time runs to begin at 8:30am and 1st round to follow.
