Brian Garner, Josh Green, Earl Talley, Amanda Fuqua, and Chase Green all claimed the first wins of the 2021 season at Music City Raceway.
GOODLETTSVILLE, TN- Music City Raceway was rocking out this past weekend with their first $5,000 Super Pro plus points race of the year. Racers in the Super Pro class competed for $5,000 and Pro Footbrake racers had $1,000 up for grabs. They also had three other classes: Sportsman, Street Legal Trophy, and Junior Dragsters.
In the $5,000-to-win Super Pro class, Brian Garner picked up the win over Corey Butler. In the final, Garner was .031 and ran a 6.000 on a 5.98 dial-in. Butler was .011 and ran a 5.950 on a 5.91 dial-in.
Josh Green claimed the win over Ruel Dowlen in the $1,000-to-win Pro Footbrake class. In the final, Green let go .053 and ran a 6.203 on a 6.18 dial-in. Dowlen ran dead-on 1 but let go a tad late giving the advantage to Green.
In the Sportsman category, Earl Talley takes the win over Lauren King. Talley put it on dead-on 4 to claim the Sportsman win.
Street Legal Trophy
In Street Legal Trophy, Amanda Fuqua picked up the win over Matt Pfeister. Fuqua was .031 dead-on 2 and Pfeister broke out.
Chase Green claims the first Junior Dragster win of the season over Hunter Sanders. In the final, Sanders went red giving the automatic win the Green.
