Next Generation Racers win Big at Little River Nationals

Junior Dragster drivers cash in at the SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series Little River Nationals at Little River Dragway.

HOLLAND, TX- The SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series held its rescheduled Little River Nationals May 29-30, 2021 at Little River Dragway. The event featured a variety of Junior Dragster classes: Index (7.90, 8.90, 11.90), Bracket 330, Quick 16, Trophy, Age Groups, and All Run Big Money.

Even though the SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series team was challenged with 60% chance of rain and a power outage, they were still able to complete the event with 61 overall entries.

Saturday Results

7.90 Index

Graeme Rufenacht picked up the 7.90 Index win over Kylie Bradley.

8.90 Index

Cayden Keyes claimed the 8.90 Index win over Kane Kern. In the final, Keyes was .009 and ran one-under his dial-in picking up the double breakout win.

11.90 Index

Kimber Trussell drove her dragster to the 11.90 victory over Holden Pavlock. In the final, Trussell was the closest to the 11.90 Index claiming the win.

Bracket 330

Kade Guidry claimed the Bracket 330 win after Emmaly Miller left -.005 red at the starting line.

Quick 16 330

Reilly Garceau was crowned the Quick 16 winner over Graeme Rufenacht. Garceau had the starting line advantage and ran three-above for the win. Kane Kern was the Quick 16 #1 Qualifier.

Trophy 1

Camden Teel picked up the Trophy 1 win over Dawson Rogers who ran too fast to break out.

Sunday Results

All Run Big Money

Timothy Rivette claimed the $1,000 All Run Big Money class win over Chance Turman. In the final, Rivette was .031 and ran three-above for the win. Turman broke out running a 7.917 on his 7.92 dial-in.

Masters 12-17

Graeme Rufenacht claimed his second win for the weekend by picking up the Masters win over Wade Walker.

Advanced 10-12

Kane Kern appeared in his second final with Addysan Rogers in the Advanced class. Kern turned on his win light to capture his first win of the weekend.

Beginners 6-9

In the Beginners final, Dawson Rogers was .009 and picked up the win on the double breakout over Ryker Flowers.

Trophy 2

Gavin Fojt picked up the Trophy 2 win over Merdia Hughes.
