Series Champions Crowned at Final King of the Coast 2021 Event

The BTE King of the Coast series wrapped up the 2021 season at Gulfport Dragway with their seventh event.

GULFPORT, MS – The BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing series completed their final race of the season and crowned their 2021 series points champions at Gulfport Dragway over the weekend. The two day event was presented by David McMurtry Racing Engines and featured Junior Dragster, Sportsman, Footbrake, and Electronics classes.

Saturday Results

Rick’s Power Coasting & Customs Electronics

Jesse Marceaux picked up the Electronics win on Saturday over Russell Truitt.

The semis-finalists were Steven Barnett and Jesse Marceaux second entry.

Alliance Race Wear Footbrake

In Saturday’s Footbrake class, Opie Pearce claimed the win over Danny Paul.

The two semi-finalists wereThad Smith and Stennis Roberts.

Carl Schaefer drove to victory in the Sportsman class over Curtis Allen.

Berry Performance Jr Dragster 7-9 Year Olds

Charlie Rentrop picked up the 7-9 Year old Junior Dragster win over Kylie Ortego.

CS Transport Jr Dragster 10-12 Year Olds

Hayden Miller was the 10-12 Year Old Jr Dragster winner on Saturday. Kane Kern was the runner-up.

Bryce Fairley was the semi-finalist.

Pearce Automotive Jr Dragster 13-17 Year Olds

Velicity Morris picked up the Saturday 13-17 Year Old Jr. Dragster win over Griffin Hatcher.

The semi-finalists were Sebastian Hickey and Ryan Alexander.

In Sunday’s Electronics class, Bradley Darby got the win over Kevin Berry.

The lone semi-finalist was Mark Snyder.

Alliance Race Wear Footbrake

In the Sunday Footbrake class, Roger Marcomb picked up the win over Danny Paul.

The semi-finalists were Larry Seguin and Aaron Hill.

Charlie Rentrop was the 7-9 Year Old Jr. Dragster winner again on Sunday.This time, Grayson Herbert was the runner-up.

CS Transport Jr Dragster 10-12 Year Olds

Lawson Scott picked up the CS Transport 10-12 Year Old Sunday Jr. Dragster win over Conner Landry.

Bryce Fairley was the semi-finalist.

Pearce Automotive Jr Dragster 13-17 Year Olds

Ryan Alexander was the 13-17 Year Old Jr Dragster winner on Sunday. Ryker Cromwell was the runner-up.

The semi-finalists were Lane Lewis and Kacee Guidry.
