Winners Crowned at 2021 Immokalee Winter Warm-up

Tolisano, Cadle, Burch, Logan, Valli and Ferraro win big at the 2021 Immokalee Regional Raceway Winter Warm-up.

IMMOKALEE, FL- The 2021 Winter Warm-up returned to Immokalee Regional Raceway on November 10-14, 2021. The top bulb racing event featured four $10,000 to win races throughout the weekend as well as a big money $25,000 to win Mike Crick Memorial race on Saturday. 

Saturday night featured a complimentary barbecue dinner for all participating racers and their families as well as a fun novelty race called the “Back Tire Shootout” where racers had to stage with their rear tires.

Wednesday $10K

Johnny Tolisano picked up the first $10K win of the weekend over George Ebel. In the final Tolisano was .009 and ran dead-on zero. Ebel was .013 and dead-on seven for the runner-up.

Thursday $10K

In Thursday’s $10K, Chris Cadle drove to victory over Steve Muller in the final round. Cadle was .007 and dead-on one and Muller left a tad too soon turning on the red eye -.001.

Friday $10K

Gage Burch picked up the win over Thursday’s $10K winner, Chris Cadle. In the final, Burch was .007 and ran dead-on three claiming the win over Cadle’s .009 one-above.

Saturday Mike Crick Memorial $25K

In Saturday’s Mike Crick Memorial $25K, the young guns strike again. This time, Travis Logan claims the win over Paul Skinger. Logan was .011 off the line and ran dead-on two over Skinger’s .019 and two-above his dial-in.

Back Tire Shootout

On Saturday night, a very well liked and fun novelty race called the “Back Tire Shoot Out” took place where 16 door cars & 16 dragsters squared off against each other in a bracket style, dial in format, but instead of staging with the front tires the racer had to stage staging on the rear tires. Door cars & dragsters each ran until only one was left standing in each category. In the final, Michael Valli drove his dragster to the win over Nick Ferraro in his S10.

Sunday $10K

To close out the weekend, Dan Ferraro picked up the last $10K win over Jarod Ledford. In the final round, D. Ferraro was .009 and dead-on six over Ledford’s .023 and dead-on six.
