Senseney, Rust, Wright, Talley, England, and Dumanski win big at the second Super Pro Plus points race at Music City Raceway.
GOODLETTSVILLE, TN- Music City Raceway was rocking out this past weekend with their second Super Pro plus points race of the year. This go around, racers in Super Pro actually ended up racing for $7,500 while Pro Footbrake racers competed for $1,000. They also had four other classes: NHRA Super Gas, Sportsman, Street Legal Trophy, and Junior Dragsters.
In the $7,500-to-win Super Pro class, Todd Senseney picks up the win over Brandon White. In the final, White turned it an unfortunate -.015 red giving the automatic win to Senseney.
In the $1,000-to-win Pro Footbrake class, Jay Rust gets it done over Thomas Kleppin. In the final, Rust was .007 and ran a 6.403 on a 6.38 dial-in. Kleppin was .017 and ran a 7.147 on a 7.13 for the runner-up.
NHRA Super Gas
Wayne Wright out of Pegram, TN claims the NHRA Super Gas win over Jeff Jensen out of Clarksville, TN. In the final, Jensen turned it an unfortunate -.0001red giving the automatic win to Wright.
Earl Talley picks up the Sportsman win once again this week. In the final round, he took on Logan Kirby of Lafayette, TN. Talley had the better reaction time of the pair and ran two-above for the win.
Street Legal Trophy
John England of Hendersonville, TN picks up the Street Legal Trophy win over Camden Holder of Goodlettsville, TN. Both drivers ran under their dial-ins but England was the lesser of the two which resulted in the win.
In the advanced Junior Dragster category, Conner Dumanski grabs the win over Jacob Poss. Dumanski ran two-above for the win.
Congratulations to all winners and finalists from the Music City Super Pro plus points race. The next $5K Super Pro plus points race will be next weekend, April 10, 2021. Gates open at 11am with eliminations starting at 2pm.
