Paschal, Fletcher, and Lawler collect wins at Galot Motorsports Park’s $5K points race #10.
BENSON, NC- Race number 10, as well as the 2021 Summit ET Series points campaign is in the record books for Galot Motorsports Park. All final points will be checked and posted as soon as available. The event featured three classes: $5,000-to-win Top ET, Footbrake, and Junior Dragster.

In Dynamite Trailer Sales Junior Dragster, persented by Onslow Grading and Paving, Dalton Wilkinson and Chris Showns faced off in the first semi. Dalton dialed 7.98 and Chris dialed 8.05. Dalton took a starting line advantage of .073 and ran 8.047 on his dial. Chris broke out trying to make up lost time, handing the win light and a trip to the final round to Dalton Wilkinson. Jayden Lawler was on the bye run this round, and just broke the beams to make things official.
In the final round, Jayden Lawler dialed 8.06 against Dalton Wilkinson’s 8.02. This race was over at the tree when Dalton turned on the red light by .026. Your Dynamite Trailer Sales Junior Dragster, presented by Onslow Grading and Paving winner for today is Jayden Lawler.
In Footbrake action, Tim Fletcher and Corey Lucas lined up for the semis. Fletcher dialed 6.28 and Lucas 8.84. The red light bandit strikes again, with Lucas leaving .021 early, handing the round win to Tim Fletcher, who faced off with Lauren Edwards, who received a bye into the final round.
In the final, Tim Fletcher dialed 6.28 against Lauren Edwards’ 6.34. Lauren got behind at the tree, and it proved to be too much to recover from. Fletcher cruised to the smaller package victory for the win.
In Jarrett Bay Boatworks Top ET, Michael Paschal and Donald Webb lined up together for the semis, with Paschal dialing 4.69 and Webb dialing 6.23. Paschal took a .014 advantage at the tree and ran dead on with a 4 for a .019 total package. Donald Webb had a .029 light and was thus mathematically ineligible. Jason Guthrie got the bye run into the finals.
In the final round of the evening, Michael Paschal and Jason Guthrie both went red on the starting line, Paschal by .002 and Guthrie by .018. With Truestart in effect, Michael Paschal gets the win with the lesser of two evils on the tree.
