The Comp Eliminator field includes last week’s Maple Grove champ Frank Aragona Jr. along with John Frech and Randy Daniels.

DragChamp pick to win:

Frank Aragona Jr. – Defending event champ and last week’s winner, this seems like a no brainer.

The Super Stock class will be a battle between Division 1 and 2 drivers this week. Top ranked D2 drivers include Michael Volkman, Mark, Alvey, Marion Stephenson, and Don Shufford will try to keep the D1 racers out of the winners circle.

DragChamp picks to win:

Worner Bros. – Going to take the Worner Bros. versus the field the week. Both brothers have enjoyed massive success at zMax.

Stock Eliminator – 55 Car Field

Joe Santangelo rolls into Charlotte hot off a big win at Maple Grove. Look for that momentum to carry him into the late rounds on Sunday. Santangelo will be joined by D2 hitters Steve Foley, Jeff Hairrington, and Terry Hembree. Wes Neely and Connor Stadler will make the long haul from D4 to compete this weekend.

DragChamp picks to win:

Jeff Strickland – His recent double at Galot proves you can’t sleep on Strick!

Joe Santangelo – Going to stick with the hot hand this week.

Super Comp – 50 Car Field

The always stout 8.90 field includes hitters such as Ray Miller III, Amanda Boicesco, Jason Kenny, John Labbous Jr., Dan Fletcher, and more.

DragChamp picks to win:

Ken Moses – East coast hitter is always a threat to win.

Billy Upton Jr. – D2 ace has a history of success at zMax.

The Super Gas field is stout as usual and includes class veterans such as Iggie Boicesco, Steve Furr, John Taylor, Jim Perry, and Greg Slack.

DragChamp picks to win:

Jonathan Anderson – Hard to bet against Anderson’s record at Charlotte. Should be in the mix on Sunday.

Iggie Boicesco – Been almost unbeatable in Division 1 for the last year, no reason to think that will change this weekend in Charlotte.

Top Sportsman – 21 Car Field

Darian Boesch

The 21 car Top Sportsman field is loaded with talent this week. Darian Boesch, John Benoit, Johnny Brooks, Sandy Wilkins, and Ronnie Proctor top the entry this at zMax.

DragChamp pick to win:

Dylan Stott – D2 hitter is always a tough out. Expect to see a lot of win lights in his lane this week.

The fast dragster class is loaded this week! Danny Nelson, Anthony Bertozzi, Alan Kenny, JB Strassweg, and Ken Moses are just a few heavyweights in attendance.

DragChamp pick to win:

Steve Furr – The Fuzz is a bad dude and should be hanging around late on Sunday.
