2021 DragChamp 6-9 Jr. Racer of the Year

Victoria Beaner wins the 2021 DragChamp 6-9 Jr. Racer of the Year title after winning 16 times on the season

12/8/21 – Welcome to the 2021 DragChamp 6-9 Jr. Racer of the Year Top 10 List. This week we rank the best 6-9 year old racers in the country and crown the 2021 6-9 Jr. Racer of the Year!

2021 DragChamp 6-9 Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Victoria Beaner

Victoria Beaner wins the 6-9 Racer of the Year title. Beaner had a very successful year finishing with 16 wins in 21 finals. She also won 2 track championships along the way, one at Bradenton Motorsports Park and the other at Orlando Speedworld. Victoria was a constant fixture on the Jr. Racer Top 10 List during the season and probably raced at more tracks than any Jr. Racer in the country. Her success across different tracks and series helped secure the Racer of the Year title.

2 – Camden Teel

Camden Teel takes the number 2 spot this season after winning the title last year. Teel won the biggest races this year including the WCF and ECF. He also won the Division 4 Jr. Finals and finished the season with a total of 5 Wally wins.

3 – Carson Wied

Carson Wied made 18 finals this year winning 14 of them. Throughout the year Carson picked up 5 Big Daddy trophy’s, a Wally, and an Ironman which landed him in the number 3 spot for the year.

4 – Brian Price

Brian Price made his way into 16 finals this year winning 9 of them. Price also won the track championship at Las Vegas Motor Speedway which pushed him to a fourth place finish on the Top 10 List.

5 – Racin’ Jason Johnson

Racin’ Jason rounds out the top 5 for the 6-9 year old Top 10 after making 14 finals and winning 9 of them. Jason won 3 track championships this year at Silver Dollar Motorsports Park, Atlanta Dragway, and US19 Dragway. In addition to his championships, Jason raced to a huge $10,000 victory at the Capital City Motorsports Park Halloween Spooktacular.

6 – Charlie “Choo” Rentrop

Charlie “Choo” locks down the number 6 spot with 8 wins in 12 finals. Rentrop finished the season strong making multiple finals in the last few weeks. He also won twice last weekend to secure the King of the Coast 7-9 championship.

7 – Colt Carlson

Colt Carlson made 9 finals this year and came out on top in 7 of them, along the way Colt picked up 2 Wallys.

8 – Jesse Varner

Jesse Varner made his way to 12 finals this year earning him the number 8 spot.

9 – Evan Songas

Evan Songas won 7 times in 10 finals this year which propelled him to the Grove Creek Raceway track championship.

10 – Landon Bailey

Landon Bailey rounds out the 6-9 year old Jr. Racer Top 10 List. Bailey won six times in 8 finals also won the Bristol Dragway track championship.
