1 – Kyle Cultrera

Kyle Cultrera has enjoyed an outstanding season on the big money bracket racing tour. On Friday night, he joined the the six-figure race winners club after turning back Kris Whitfield in the Fall Fling $100K final in Bristol. The win comes on the heels of a huge win last month at the 40 Grand Nationals at Norwalk where he ran himself in the final for $40K!!!!

2 – Roger Phillips

Roger Phillips went off in Vegas at the Division 7 ET Finals last weekend. Phillips made five final round appearances on the weekend winning three Wally’s along the way. Highlights of the weekend include a win in the Race of Champions on Friday, a win in the main event on Saturday, and a Gambler’s win on Sunday.

3 – Kris Whitfield

Kris Whitfield continues to showcase just how good the west coast racers are after another strong showing at the Fling. After a runner-up finish in the Spring Fling Million earlier this season, Whitfield raced to two final rounds last week in Bristol. Kris grabbed a runner-up finish in Wednesday’s $25K and followed with a runner-up on Friday in the $100,000 main event.

4 – Jeff Serra

Speaking of showing out, Jeff Serra won again! Serra, the August Racer of the Month, continues to turn on win lights on the biggest stages. This week he won $25,000 on Saturday night at the Fall Fling in Bristol to make yet another appearance on the Top 10 List.

5 – Luke Bogacki

Cool Hand Luke Bogacki has destroyed the Super Gas class in 2021. After an already crazy season that is probably one of the best in Super Gas history, Luke won on Sunday in St. Louis to add to his insane points total. The win was his fifth in seven finals this season and should lock up the national championship.

6 – Matt Obertanec

Matt Obertanec doubles up at Empire Dragway winning the 32-Car Shootout on Friday and the $15K main event on Saturday to secure a Top 10 spot this week.

7 – Bob Prose

On the heels of his Super Comp victory at the Carolina Nationals, Bob Prose wins for the second time in three weeks after wining the Division 3 Lucas Oil Series race in St. Louis. Bob also grabbed a semifinal finish at the Midwest Nationals to complete an outstanding three race swing.

7 – David Billingsley

Comp racer David Billingsley locks down a Top 10 spot this week after sweeping the NHRA Division 3 double header race in St. Louis.

8 – Randy Scheuer

Randy Scheuer grabs a Top 10 spot this week after doubling up at Dragway 42. Scheuer won the Early Bird Shootout and Friday’s Box class to complete the double.

9 – Jake Knarr

Jake Knarr doubled up over the weekend at Maple Grove. After pulling off a double-double a couple of months ago, that’s a double on Saturday and another double win on Sunday, Jake settled for a weekend sweep of the Super Pro class last weekend. Competing at the Mid Atlantic .90 Association event, Jake won the Super Pro class on Saturday and Sunday to make another Top 10 appearance.

10 – Bobby Paul Arnett

Bobby Paul Arnett pulled off a unique double at Kentucky Dragway over the weekend. After winning the Box class season championship and winning Friday’s $2K race, Arnett won the run-off against the other season champions to secure the $10,000 championship payday. That’s right, Kentucky Dragway paid $10,000 to the the season ending Grand Champion.

Shout Out

Our buddy Vince McCullah gets a special shout out this week for winning his first NHRA Division 4 Championship. Vince rolled into Noble, Okla. for the final Lucas Oil event of the season trailing the points leader by 9 points. Leaving nothing to chance, Vince raced to the event win which also secured the season championship!
