1 – Nick Hastings

A week after sweeping the No-Box class at Quaker City, Nasty Nick stayed hot winning twice at Norwalk. In true Nasty Nick fashion, he did what no one had done previously which was win two classes in one day in two different cars at Norwalk. Nick won Sportsman and Pro on Sunday a week after winning two $5K’s and a $10K at Quaker City. His performance over the last two weeks earned him the #1 spot for the second consecutive week.

2 – Jesse Bobo

Jesse Bobo gave Nick Hastings a run for the #1 spot but ended up number two this week. Bobo put on a show at Beech Bend Raceway Park winning $30,000 in two races over the weekend. Jesse stopped Jason Lynch in the Friday $10K final and Dave Angelly in Saturday’s $20K final to pull off the double.

3 – Joe Tillman

Joe Tillman has only owned his street driven Mustang for a few months but has managed to win six times in eight finals with it. Competing against true race cars, Tillman’s and his Mustang made three final round appearances last weekend winning twice! He won Saturday night at Muncie and earned the Sportsman win and a Pro runner-up on Sunday at Indy.

4 – Pete D’Agnolo

Pete D’Agnolo has been on a tear lately in Comp Eliminator. After pulling off the double at National Trail Raceway, D’Agnolo took over the #1 spot in the NHRA national points chase. The double was his third straight victory in the class and his fourth overall this season.

5 – Jamie Sarracco

Jamie Sarracco had a great outing at Atco for the Jim Harrington Bracket Nationals. After making the quarterfinals in Friday’s $20K, Sarracco rolled down to the semifinals in Saturday’s $50K before winning the Sunday $20K!

6 – Joey Harrison

Joey Harrison locked down a Top 10 spot this week after winning the $50,000 main event at the Jim Harrington Bracket Nationals at Atco.

7 (tie) – Scott Cook

Scott Cook won the $20,000 main event at Topeka’s House of Speed Shootout to claim his Top 10 spot this week.

7 (tie) – Zac Biron

Zac Biron won $20,000 Friday at the Jim Harrington Bracket Nationals to secure a Top 10 spot this week.

8 – Brad Northrop

Brad Northrop has been on fire for the last few weeks. Beginning with the Independence Showdown on July 4th, Northup won the No-Box class to earn a $7,500 payday. He won Pro the following weekend at Numidia and then grabbed a runner-up finish in the Sunday $20K at the Jim Harrington Bracket Nationals.

9 – Chad Sandlin / Jason McFarland

Texas-based Bottom Bulb hitter Chad Sandlin triple entered his S-10 at I-30 Dragway over the weekend were he and teammate Jason McFarland drove the door truck to two victories. Jason won Electronics while Chad took home the No-Box victory. Chad also posted a quarterfinal finish in the Electronics class.

10 (tie) – Talon Farmer

Recent Jr. dragster graduate Talon Farmer proved he’s ready for big cars after driving his dragster to a win and a runner-up at Big Country Raceway in Abilene, TX last weekend. Look for big things from the Farmer team as Talon and his brother Ty tear up tracks around Texas.

10 (tie) – Joe & Kayla Mozeris

Joe and Kayla mozeris

The coolest double of the weekend had to be the Father/Daughter double at the NHRA Mile-High Nationals from Joe and Kayla Mozeris. Joe took home the Comp Eliminator trophy while Kayla won the Super Stock Wally!
