2nd Annual Coastal Clash Returns to US 13 Dragway

The FRBR Promotions’ 2nd Annual Champion Hi-Tech Lubricants Coastal Clash presented by Blittersdorf’s Automotive returns to US 13 Dragway September 16-18, 2022.

DELMAR, DE- FRBR Promotions’ heads to US 13 Dragway to finish off their 2022 season with the 2nd Annual Champion Hi-Tech Lubricants Coastal Clash presented by Blittersdorf’s Automotive September 16-18, 2022. This event features three-days of Top Bulb $10K’s, No-Box $5K’s, and Junior Dragster $1K’s. In addition, there will also be Saturday Night Showdown Shootouts which will include a $5,000-to-win Top Bulb 64-Car Shootout, $2,500-to-win No-Box 64-Car Shootout, and a $700-to-win Junior Dragster 32-Car Shootout. This event is also packed with lots of extras like the Friday Dash for Cash, Pit Vehicle Race, and a Saturday night Racer Appreciation Dinner.

KKC Performance Top Bulb

In KKC Performance Top Bulb, racers will compete for $10,000 each day of the event. The runner-up finisher will win $2,000 and semi-finalists will go home with $1,000. There will be $100 round money beginning with 4th round losers. The full weekend entry which gets you three opportunities at $10K will cost you $400 and the single-day entry will be $150. There will also be a $100 re-entry buyback available for first round.

C2 Competition Converters & Machining No-Box

All three days of the Coastal Clash will post $5,000-to-win for No Box racers. The runner-up will claim $1,000 and the semi-finalists will win $500. The weekend entry fee will be $260 and a single-day entry is $100. There will be a first round buyback available for $60. $50 round money starts with 4th round losers.

Elzey’s Septic Service Junior Dragster

Junior Dragster racers will compete for $1,000 on all three days. The runner-up will earn $300 and semi-finalist will cash-in for $120. The weekend entry fee is $150 and the sing day entry fee is $60. There will be a first round buyback available for $30 if needed. In addition, there will be $30 round money starting with 4th round losers.

Juniors will run as age groups (6-9, 10-12, 13-17) until one entry remains in group, then they proceed to next group.

BNM Performance Saturday Night Showdown Shootouts

Saturday night will feature three BNM Performance Showdown Shootouts: Top Bulb 64-Car Shootout ($200 entry fee), No-Box 64-Car Shootout ($100 entry fee), and a 32-Car Junior Dragster Shootout ($60 entry fee). There will be no doubles allowed, no buybacks. Racers are to pay at the base of the tower and if you win 3rd round, you win your money back!

Extras

In addition to this already fantastic lineup, there will also be a Arundel Trailer Sales Dash for Cash on Friday, Greiner Bros. Heating & Cooling Pit Vehicle Race following the Friday main event, and a Competitive Suspension Racer Appreciation Dinner in memory of Wayne Cox Saturday at 6pm.

Crew gate fees are $15 per day and kids 12 & under are FREE!

  • Run Order: No-Box, Jrs, Top Doorcars, Top Dragsters)
  • Eliminations to follow Time Run
  • Pit Vehicle after Main Event

Saturday

  • Gates open at 8am
  • New Entry Time Trial at 9am (New Combinations Only)
  • Eliminations following Time Run
  • Racer Appreciation Dinner at 6pm
  • Saturday night Shootouts following Main Event

Sunday

  • Gates open at 8am
  • New Entry Time Trial at 9am (New Combinations Only)
  • Eliminations following Time Run
