MADISON, IL – Angelo Belosi and Rocky McLain II both made for pretty memorable weekends at the TB Twin Fifties race at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, IL. Belosi cashed in for $50,000 on Friday, while McLain II found himself in the same winners circle on Saturday evening for $50,000.

Racers traveled from all over for four days of racing in extremely hot temperatures. The 10-50-50-10 format was a new format the TB Promotions team tried this year, and they were very excited to return to WWTR after their first Class Racers Revival event in 2021.

JEGS Thursday
To kick off the weekend, the JEGS Free $10,000 Warm-Up race was pretty interesting with the Willywood’s Progressive Buy Back. With the Progressive Buy Back, racers could buy back their entry one time at any point of the race, with no cut off time! Each round, the buyback would increase by $50. A huge car count of 370+ entries and the different kind of buy back made for a very long night.
Racers decided to split the purse at 7 cars evenly. Left in was Dave Angelly, Nick Folk, Tracy Sons, Will Hollman, Rock McLain II, Matt Dadas, and Zac Fulcher. Both Dadas and Fulcher lost the round prior, but still had their buyback to use which got them back into the race!
