Bradenton Hosts NHRA Points Steve Becker Memorial Weekend

Fifteen racers visited the Winner’s Circle May 27-29, 2022 at Bradenton Motorsports Park’s Gun Shoppe NHRA Points Steve Becker Memorial Weekend.

BRADENTON, FL- Bradenton Motorsports Park held their Gun Shoppe NHRA Points Steve Becker Memorial Weekend event May 27-29, 2022. On Friday, there was a Jr. Dragster shootout, which had three separate age groups. The main event featured $10,000-to-win FTI Super Pro, $5,000-to-win Cadillac Lakeland Pro ET, Sportsman, Pro Cycle, Jr. Street, and multiple Jr. Dragster classes. Unfortunately, the track battled timing issues all weekend and Sunday’s program was unable to be completed.

Saturday Results

FTI Super Pro

Paul Rebis captured the $10,000 FTI Super Pro win over Dave Connolly.

Lakeland Cadillac Pro ET

In the Lakeland Cadillac Pro ET class, Tim Butler picked up the win over Jerry Norton.

Sportsman

Brian Miller claimed the Sportsman win over Jordan Traina.

JR Street

Dylan MacNicol continues to dominate the JR Street class. This time, getting the win over Courtney Cole.

Pro Cycle

Angela Zambrana captured the Pro Cycle win over Don Richter.

Advanced Jr Dragster

In the Advanced Jr. Dragster class, Peyton Shook picked up the win over Hailey Peterson.

Intermediate Jr Dragster

Cameron Rich drove his dragster to victory in the Intermediate Jr Dragster class on Saturday. The runner-up was Braxton Scott.

Novice Jr Dragster

In Novice Jr. Dragster, Tyler Biddle claimed the final round win over Caden Starr.

2nd Chance Advanced Jr Dragster

Winner: Kimoni Hamilton

Runner Up: Hailey Shook

2nd Chance Intermediate Jr Dragster

Winner: Victoria Beaner

Runner-Up: Carson Murphery

2nd Chance Novice Jr Dragster
