CP Racing Promotions’ Summer $5Ks Results

B. Nelson, Parr, C. Nelson, Russell, Ezell, Landry, Burleson, and Rufenacht claimed wins at the CP Promotions’ Summer $5K’s at State Capitol Raceway.

PORT ALLEN, LA- CP Racing Promotions’ held their Summer $5K’s bracket race June 3-5, 2022 at State Capitol Raceway. The event featured multiple opportunities to cash-in for $5,000 in No Box and Box. Junior Dragsters were also invited in on the fun and raced for $2,500 on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday Results

No Box

Brian Nelson picked up the first No Box $5K win of the weekend over Bryan Chapman. The semi-finalist was Dylan Spicer.

Box

In Saturday’s $5K Box class, Greg Parr captured the final round win over Blaine Stewart.

Lane Comeaux & Jesse Marceaux were the semi-finalists.

Junior Dragsters

On Saturday, Camron Nelson drove his Junior Dragster to a $2,500 victory over Charlie Rentrop.

Graeme Rufenacht was the lone semi-finalists.

Box Shootout

In the Saturday night Box Shootout, Adam Russell picked up the win over Bryson Parks.

Derrick Payton was the semi-finalist.

No Box Shootout

Wyatt Ezell claimed the $3K No Box Shootout win over Colin Landry on Saturday night.

The semi-finalist was Robby Mullins.

Sunday Results

No Box

No Box Shootout runner-up, Colin Landry sealed the deal on Sunday and picked up the $5K No Box win over Robby Mullins.

Mike Barnett was the semi-finalist.

Box

Donny Burleson captured the Sunday $3K Box win over Jesse Marceaux.

The semi-finalists were Adam Russell & Heath Fountain.

Junior Dragsters

In Sunday’s Junior Dragster program, Graeme Rufenacht rose to the top, getting the final round win over Claire Russell.

Aiden Hyatt was the semi-finalist.
