Five Winners Crowned at 5th Annual Footbrake 150

Sandlin, Seguin, Hastings, Fairley, and Green capture wins at the 5th Annual Savage Performance Footbrake 150 at Gulfport Dragway.

GULFPORT, MS- The 5th annual Savage Performance Footbrake 150 took place March 18-20, 2022 at Gulfport Dragway. The 2022 event featured two $20K races, $3K Gamblers Race, and two $1K Junior Dragster races. Unfortunately with the rain and time constraints, the No Guts No Glory Gamblers Race and Ghost Race was unable to be contested.

One perk of the two main events is that you got two entries for the price of one! If doubles aren’t your style, two drivers could have shared the BOGO deal and have one entry each for the $20Ks.

Friday Results

$3K Gamblers Race

After the Friday night Test and Tune, the $3,000-to-win Gamblers race got underway. The race was ultimately finished up Saturday morning with Nick Hastings coming out on top and getting the win over Caleb Ellison. The semi-finalists were Charlie Lockhart and Rhett Seguin.

$20K Main Event

In Saturday’s $20,000-to-win main event, Chad Sandlin picked up the win over Taylor Bowling. Cameron Thomas was the lone semi-finalist.

$1K Junior Dragster

Bryce Fairley defeated Maddie Chesne in the Saturday $1,000-to-win Junior Dragster final round.

$20K Main Event

In Sunday’s $20K main event, Larry Seguin parked his ride on the dance floor after defeating Rodney Finchum in the final round. Josh Green was the lone semi-finalist.

$1K Junior Dragster

In Sunday’s $1K Junior Dragster class, Chase Green got the win over Hayden Miller.
