KOC Jr. Dragster Christmas on the Coast + $10K Invitational

GULFPORT, MS- Rolison Motorsports Promotions that promotes and operates the BTE King of the Coast Series Presented by David McMurtry Racing Engines is pleased to present to the Junior Dragster racing community the Inaugural King of the Coast Jr Dragster “Christmas on the Coast” Presented by Bone Shaker Motorsports and Jr Dragster $10,000.00 Invitational Presented by DragChamp, December 16-18, 2022 at Gulfport Dragway in Gulfport, MS.

“The KOC is beyond stoked with the potential of this event and also bringing all the best Junior Dragster racers to the historic Gulfport Dragway in Gulfport, Mississippi. The KOC is home to one of the strongest Junior Dragster programs in the South that is enriched with history dating all the way to 2005,” Gaylon Rolison with Rolison Motorsports Promotion expressed.

The event weekend will feature a $20,000.00 to WIN race surrounded by $5,000.00 to WIN races on Friday and Sunday.

Additionally the main attraction will be the King of the Coast $10,000.00 Jr Dragster Invitational Presented by DragChamp. The event will feature 32 or 64 of the finest Jr Dragster Racers ever assembled to compete in a winner take all $10,000.00 Free Entry Race.

The Invitational Event will begin Saturday Night following the $20,000.00 Event and conclude with the crowning of the Champion Sunday morning.Racers will submit resumes in which a panel of 5 will select 30 or 62 racers to complete in this prestigious event. The panel of 5 will ONLY be provided the portions of the resume that show the accomplishments of the submitters. Additionally, submitters will provide a brief two minute video.

The remaining two racers to round out the field will be determined by a Friday Night “Race Your Way into the Jr Dragster $10,000.00 Invitational”. All racers that submitted resumes that were not selected by the Race Selection Panel will have the opportunity to compete in the race your way in event.

The 5K, 20K, 5K Events will be capped at 200 racers. The initial goal is slated to have 200 single entered racers.
