Wayne Patton Doubles Up on Jerry Ketterman’s Super Bad 8 Saturday
Patton, Farace, Groton, Jefferson, and Johnson captured wins at the annual Jerry Ketterman’s “Super Bad 8” show at US 13 Dragway.

DELMAR, DE- US 13 Dragway hosted the annual Jerry Ketterman’s “Super Bad 8” show with a new two day format with Friday nights Top ET Super 64 car Shootout, Mod ET Shootout and Pro Bike Shootout in the final summer shootouts sponsored by Crouch Automotive and Outten Brothers Home Furnishings along with on Saturday hosting the two Super Bad 8 classes – Open Wheel and Full Body classes on Saturday. Super Bad 8 class #1 qualifiers paid out $500 and the winners in each Bad 8 class collected $1,500. The Super Bad 8 classes ran off for the “Bad to the Bone” and if they were on Hoosier tires an additional $500 along with buy one get one free Hoosier Slicks went to the winner.

Super Bad 8 Open Wheel
The Super Bad 8 Open Wheel had as the #1 qualifier Wayne Patton 4.21 and was followed by #2 Steven Boone 4.29, #3 Lindy Herman 4.36, #4 Nathanial Brunson 4.37, #5 Jason Barrow 4.39, #6 Alan Glatt 4.41, #7 Jerry Birchfield 4.42, and #8 Frank Lecates 4.54.
The Super Bad 8 Open Wheels finals was between Wayne Patton and Steven Boone. Patton took the win on Boone’s redlight and ran a 4.21 on a 4.21 dial.

Super Bad 8 Full Body
The Super Bad 8 Full Body had as #1 qualifier Kevin Merritt 4.19 and was followed by #2 Don Teague 4.51, #3 Doug Farace 4.59, #4 Tony Hill 4.72, #5 Jeff Moore 4.86, #6 Cody Absher 4.97, #7 Ricky Payne 5.09, and #8 Tony Tull 5.26.
The Bad 8 Full Body finals was between Doug Farace and Tony Hill. Farace had the better reaction time and ran a 4.59 on a 4.58 dial in to Hill’s 4.71 on a 4.70 dial in.


Bad to the Bone
Wayne Patton and Doug Farace faced each other in the “Bad to the Bone” finals. Patton has a .001 reaction time to Farace .002 reaction time and Patton ran a 4.22 on a 4.21 dial in to Farace 4.58 on a 4.57 dial in to pick up the win in the “Bad to the Bone” Finals.

Top ET 64 Car Shootout
The Crouch Automotive Top ET 64 car shootout was a battle between door cars of Billy Groton and Stewart Herman. Groton has the better reaction time and Herman ran a 6.11 on a 6.12 dial in to give the win to Billy Groton who ran a 7.48 on a 7.47 dial in and picked up the $5,000 prize.

Mod ET Shootout
The Mod ET shootout was a battle between Michael Jefferson and Vincent Wade. Jefferson had the better reaction time and ran a 6.314 on a 6.32 dial in while Wade broke out more than Jefferson running a 5.993 on a 6.00 dial in to allow Jefferson to pick up the win.

Pro Bike Shootout
The Outten Brothers Home Furnishings Pro Bike Shootout finals was a showdown between Montrell Johnson and Kenny Webster. Johnson was better on the dial in running a 9.04 on a 8.97 dial in to Webster 9.13 on a 8.76 dial in and picked up the win.
