Winners Crowned at Star Spangled Banger

Several winners were crowned over the weekend at the Star Spangled Banger at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, OH.

XENIA, OH – The Star Spangled Banger swept through the holiday weekend at Kil-Kare Raceway where several winners were crowned $7500 winners! Brent Angles, Brody Cantrell, and Jerry Hollingsworth led the weekend cashing in each day.

Racers were given a chance to race for $7,500 on Friday-Sunday, as well as junior dragsters on Saturday and Sunday.

Friday

Brent Angles defeated Josh Kessler in the final round.

In the 64-car shootout, Carson Griffith defeated Jason Briggs.

Saturday

Brody Cantrell defeated Daniel Rice in the final round.

Braden Brittingham defeated Ashlee Sparks in the junior dragster final round.

Sunday

Jerry Hollingsworth defeated Craig Flora in the last final round of the weekend.

Nick Abruzzi defeated Cadence Soucek in the junior dragster final round.

Brent Angles was the Po-Maxx heads weekend points champion.

Megan Bohannon is a 25 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.
