Free Wins $20K at Jr. Dragster Christmas on the Coast
Morris, Pearce, Free, Knieriem, Kendall, and Grayson claimed wins at the BTE King of the Coast Inaugural Jr. Dragster Christmas on the Coast presented by Bone Shaker Motorsports.
GULFPORT, MS- The BTE King of the Coast Inaugural Jr. Dragster Christmas on the Coast presented by Bone Shaker Motorsports took place December 16-18, 2022 at Gulfport Dragway.
The event featured three main events: a Friday $5K, Saturday $20K, and Sunday $5K. In addition, there was also a Caheely Performance 32-Car Gamblers Race on Thursday and the highly anticipated DragChamp Junior Dragster $10,000 Invitational which was contested over Saturday and Sunday.

Thursday Caheely Performance 32-Car Gamblers Race
Velicity Morris picked up the win over Graeme Rufenacht in the Thursday night Caheely Performance 32-car Gamblers Race.
Carson Wied & C.J. Jenkins were the semi-finalists.
Friday’s $5K
Zack Pearce took home the big $5,000 check for Friday’s Main Event win and Ty Janousek claimed the runner-up spot.
Sarah Bazell and Blaine Bazell were the semi-finalists.
Saturday $20K
DragChamp’s own, Austin Free captured the BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series Christmas on the Coast Saturday $20,000 Main Event win over Cole Knieriem.
Jace Renoll & Sarah Kidd were the semi-finalists.
DragChamp Junior Dragster $10,000 Invitational
Cole Knieriem turned on the final win light of the DragChamp Junior Dragster $10,000 Invitational 64-Car Shootout. Jesse Fritts was the runner-up finisher.
Dylan Moore and Evan Kuchler were the semi-finalists.
Friday Night “Last Chance” Race
Justin Kendall earned the last spot in the 64-car Drag Champ $10,000 Invitational by defeating Luke Tabor in the Friday Night “Last Chance” final round.
Sunday $5K
Logan Grayson claimed the Sunday $5,000 win over “Stumpman” Jace Esneault to close out the weekend at BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series Christmas on the Coast.
Ty Janousek was the lone semi-finalist.
