Jr Racers Capture Wins at Cordova MJSS Race #4

Five Junior Dragster drivers captured wins at the Cordova International Dragway Midwest Jr Super Series Race #4.

CORDOVA, IL- The Midwest Jr Super Series was back in action this past weekend, August 5-7, 2022 at Cordova International Dragway for Race #4. The event featured numerous Junior Dragster classes including Age Groups, Outlaw 330, Q16 and Sportsman. Unfortunately, rain cancelled all on-track activities for Sunday.

Race #5 will be August 16-18, 2022 at Jeffers Motorsports Park in Missouri.

13 & Up Age Group

Charlie Weiler picked up the Manhattan Collision Center 13 & Up Age Group win over Jesse Lasik.

10-12 Year Old Age Group

In the Big St. Charles Motorsports presented by Impact Racing 10-12 Year Old Age Group, Tyler Wied captured the final round win over Noah Taylor.

6-9 Year Old Age Group

Carson Wied claimed the Coating Specialties 6-9 Year Old Age Group win over Jaxon Brown.

Quick 16

Ty Gortney picked up the Allstar Performance presented by Xs Power Quick 16 win over Anson Brown.

Gortney was also the #1 Qualifier.

Outlaw 330

In Hangsterfer’s Laboratories presented by Meramec Heights Collision Center Outlaw 330, Austin Vincent claimed the final round win over Brent Wagner.

Sportsman

Tyler Wied captured the Diamond Pistons presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance Sportsman win over Thomas Konen.

The last Standing 6-9 Year Old was Van Swearingen. He ran Jeg Weets in the 6-9 Sportsman final.
