Three $5K’s Guaranteed at Capital City Jr. Classic

MONTGOMERY, AL- The Capital City Jr. Classic is just around the corner! Join Capital City Motorsports Park June 17-19, 2022 for a stab at three guaranteed $5,000-to-win races for Junior Dragsters. The event will also feature index races and a 6-9 year old Bracket Race on Friday. Two $5,000-to-win races will be contested on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Friday Competition- Index Day

Friday will feature a 7.90 and 8.90 $1,000-to-win Index class and a $300-to-win 6-9 Year Old Bracket Race. The entry fee for the Index races will be $75 and the runner-up will earn $200 and semi-finalists will win $100. The entry fee for the 6-9 Year Old Bracket Race will be $30 with a $20 buyback. The runner-up finisher will win $100 and semi-finalists will earn $50.

Saturday Competition- 2 Races, One Day

On Saturday, there will be two $5,000-to-win races that will be run as an all run race with age groups to be separated as long as possible. The runner-up of each race will earn $1,000 and semi-finalists will win $400. The weekend entry (includes two $5Ks on Saturday and one $5K on Sunday) will be $250 and the single entry fee will be $125. There will be a buyback available 1st or 2nd round and it will be $75. The $5K races will also have a $500 bonus to the last standing 6-9 Year Old.

Sunday Competition- $5,000-to-win

Sunday will feature the final $5K of the weekend and is structured the same as the two races on Saturday. The weekend entry of $250 includes both races on Saturday and the Sunday race as well. See round money & entry fee information above.
