LODRS Division 1 Champions

The Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Northeast Division 1 crowned their champions at the end of 2021 with Peter D’Agnolo leading the list.

NORTHEAST DIVISION 1 – The Northeast LODRS Division finished their season at the end of 2021 and crowned champions in each class.

Peter D’Agnolo, Joe Santangelo, Todd Bednaz, Kevin Scholl, Michael Handras, Brian Sawyer, Brandon Miller, & Robert Fortuna were all crowned champions in their respective classes after having gold worthy seasons!

2021 Northeast Division 1 Champions

Competition Eliminator – Peter D’Agnolo

D'Agnolo

Peter D’Agnolo finished the year with 357 points, totaling out to a win at the Baby Gators and a win at Norwalk along with several late round finishes.

Frank Aragona Jr. finished second with 327 points and Chip Ippolito Jr. finished third with 271.

Super Stock – Joe Santangelo

Joe Santangelo finished the year with 385 points, totaling out to a win at Brainerd and a runner up at Norwalk along with several late round finishes.

Lincoln Morehead finished second with 383 points and Joe Lisa finished third with 352 points.

Stock Eliminator – Todd Bednaz

Todd Bednaz finished the year with 404 points, totaling out to a win at Epping and several late round finishes throughout the season.

Todd Hoven finished second with 352 points and Joe Santangelo finished third with 350 points.

Super Comp – Kevin Scholl

Kevin Scholl finished the year with 361 points, totaling out to a runner-up at Reading and several late round finishes throughout the season.

Mike Robilotto finished second with 317 points and Walter Olt finished third with 298 points.

Super Gas – Michael Handras

Michael Handras finished the year with 289 points, totaling out to several late round finishes throughout the year.

Thomas Smith finished second with 288 points and Tom Allen finished third with 287 points.

Super Street – Brian Sawyer

Brian Sawyer finished the year with 428 points, totaling out to a win at Numidia and several late round finishes throughout the season.

Keith Mayers finished second with 343 points and Shawn Fricke finished third with 320 points.

Top Dragster – Brandon Miller

Brandon Miller finished the year with 325 points, totaling out to a win at Maryland and several late round finishes throughout the year.

Vince Musolino finished second with 314 points and David Petrofske finished third with 271 points.

Top Sportsman – Robert Fortuna

Robert Fortuna finished the year with 346 points, totaling out to a win at Reading and a win at Virginia along with several late round finishes.

Ronald Riegel finished second with 314 points and Michael Daniele finished third with 293 points.

Megan Strassweg

Megan Strassweg is a 24 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it. Megan works with TB Promotions in promoting their races and keeping entries straight, as well as keeping their social media pages updated.
