6/22/22 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Grace Varner

Grace Varner grabs the #1 spot this week after winning one of the $5K races at the Capitol City Jr. Classic, this was her 6th final in 5 weeks!

2 – Brayden Todd

Brayden Todd followed up his runner-up finish last weekend with a $5K victory at the Capital City Jr. Classic. Todd also made it down to 3 cars in the other $5K.

3 – Tyler Wied

Tyler Wied won 8.90 index class on Friday and was doubled entered on Saturday when he broke a crankshaft ending his run. On Sunday, Tyler took 2 entries down to 9 cars before finishing the day with a runner-up finish in the $5K.

4 – Jeggie Holbrook

Jeggie Holbrook made 3 finals in one weekend winning 2 of the 3. This was also his 5th straight final round appearance.

5 – Alexis Kesterson

Alexis Kesterson rounds out the Top 5 after making 3 final appearances at the Mid West Drag Racing Series. Alexis won once in her three finals rounds on the weekend.

6 – Jesse Fritts

Jesse Fritts doubled up in the Jr. class and in the Sportsman class to secure a Top 10 spot this week.

7 (tie) – Peyton Bunch

Peyton Bunch won Saturday at Summerduck Dragway and then won at VMP on Sunday.

7 (tie) – Kabren Jackson

Kabren Jackson doubled up at Thunder Valley Dragways.

7 (tie) – Isabella Ritchey

Isabella Ritchey completes the 3 way tie after she also doubled up on the weekend winning twice at National Trail Raceway.

8 – Dexter Gomez

Dexter Gomez made it down to 8 cars on Friday, had a runner-up finish on Saturday, and finished strong with a win on Sunday at Kentucky Dragway.

9 – Maddie Chesne

Maddie Chesne takes the #9 spot after she won Sundays $5K race at Capitol City Motorsports Park. This is Maddie’s second big money win on the season as she also picked up the big check at the Southern Big Buck Nationals earlier this year along with wins at the BTE King of the Coast.

10 – Will Willard

Will Willard picked up his 3rd win in the past 2 weeks to close out the Jr. Racer Top 10 List this week. This was his 12th win of the season.
