DragChamp Top 10 List
1 – High Gear Herem

Ryan “High Gear” Herem grabs the top spot this week after racing to back-to-back victories in Arizona. A week ago, Herem won the Super Comp Wally at the NHRA Division 7 Lucas Oil event in Phoenix. The win came two years after his horrific accident at the same track. The comeback story got even better after he collected a $10,000 victory at the Southwest Showdown in Tucson on Friday. Ryan’s back-to-back victories secured the #1 spot this week.
2 – Brian Boose

Brian Boose raced to a huge $50,000 payday in Florida over the weekend to secure the two spot. After weather issues forced the SFG team to combine Saturday and Sunday’s races into one $50K, Boose grabbed the victory over the door car of Travis Logan on Sunday evening.
3 – Tim O’Moore

Tim O’Moore continues to impress on the West Coast. After closing out the 2021 season in a big way, O’Moore raced to a $50,000 victory at the Southwest Showdown in Tucson Saturday night. To earn the victory, he defeated Peter Biondo in the semifinals and then snuck past Luke Bogacki to seal the deal.
4 – Luke Bogacki

Luke Bogacki continues to prove he’s the best in the business. Week in and week out, Luke travels the country turning on win lights no matter what class he’s competing in. A week ago he drove his roadster to the Super Gas victory at the NHRA D7 Lucas Oil series event. This past weekend he came up just short to Tim O’Moore in the $50,000 Shootout at the Southwest Showdown in Tucson.
5 – Peter Biondo & Marko Perivolaris

The Terminator, Peter Biondo and his good buddy Marko Perivolaris teamed up on the field at the Southwest Showdown and did some damage. Peter won a ten grander and made the semifinals in the $50,000 Shootout while Marko was runner-up in the $15,000 race. Overall they made about 50 laps on Marko’s hot rod during the weekend. #baddudes
6 – Rocky McLain II

Rocky McLain II keep his recent final round streak alive after his runner-up finish Saturday night at Xtreme Raceway. In the previous few weeks lil’ Rock won a $13,000 Shootout at the Southern Big Buck Nationals and followed with a $3,000 victory at I-30 Dragway.
7 – John Brannen

“John Yacht” Brannen grabbed a huge payday on Friday night at the SFG Season Kickoff to secure his Top 10 spot this week. Brannen defeated Caraline McCarty in the final round to earn the big check.
8 – AJ Ashe

Big dollar bracket racing ace AJ Ashe checks in this week in the eight spot after winning a no-split $15,000 final at the Top Bulb 150 a week ago. Ashe also raced to a late round finish the prior evening in the $30 grander.
9 – Andrew Goss

Andrew Goss secured his Top 10 spot this week after doubling up at Centerville. Goss footbraked his GTO to wins in No-E and Super Pro to complete the double.
10 – Dan Bain

Dan Bain rounds out the Top 10 this week after a stellar performance at the NHRA D7 LODRS event in Phoenix a week ago. Dan collected a win and a runner-up in Super Street at the doubleheader divisional event.
