DragChamp Top 10 List

1 – Dink Holmes

Dink Holmes grabbed the top spot this week after cashing for $100K at the Spring Fling GALOT! Holmes won one for the door car fans with his beautiful Camaro. The newly painted ride was in the finals for the second straight week after Holmes took runner-up honors the previous weekend at GALOT. After a $100K win and a $20K runner-up, Holmes was an easy choice for the #1 spot this week.

2 – Kevin Brannon

Hot off his second million dollar victory a couple of weeks ago in Vegas, Kevin Brannon kept the win streak alive after cashing for $20K at the Spring Fling GALOT. He latest victory came in the Laris Motorsports Insurance Shootout last Tuesday.

3 – Gary Williams

G-dub grabs the three spot this week after winning $30K at the Spring Fling GALOT on Saturday. This was his second $30K Spring Fling final in the last three weeks. Gary also made the Saturday final at the Spring Fling Million in Vegas where he settled for runner-up honors.

4 – Aaron Jones

Aaron Jones had a great weekend at the Bottom Bulb Explosion at Mid America Dragway. Jones picked up a $10K win on Saturday and followed with a $10K runner-up to his good friend Jeff Riedel on Sunday. Jones and Riedel also meet in the semifinals on Saturday night with Jones scoring the win. Their successful outings, along with their other teammates, also propelled them to the team points weekend championship. That’s what we call a clean sweep.

5 – Taylor Bowling

Taylor Bowling left his mark on the Working Man’s $10 Grands after racing to the No-Box title on Saturday. He then joined the Box field where he won $10K leaving off the bottom. Bowling returned to the No-Box final on Sunday where he came up short to Rich Komor.

6 – Sean Serra

While his brother Jeff has been grabbing the majority of the headlines for the last 18 months, Sean Serra has been quietly performing at a high level. After numerous big money wins and late round finishes, Sean raced to the $100K runner-up Friday at the Spring Fling.

7 – Tim Markoglu

Tim Markoglu continues to show out on the biggest stages. Hot off his Dragster Shootout runner-up at the Spring Fling in Vegas, Markoglu snagged a $15K victory at the Spring Fling GALOT last week. A year ago, Markoglu won the $100K main event at the Spring Fling GALOT.

8 – Will Roberts

Will Roberts cashed for $30K on Thursday at the Spring Fling GALOT to secure his Top 10 spot! Roberts outlasted a large field of big money bracket racers to secure the victory.

9 – Jake Jones

Jake Jones followed his semifinal finish at the Spring Fling Saturday $30K at Vegas with a $10K victory at the Firebird Ignitor last weekend. After rain wiped out Saturday’s racing, the Firebird crew combined both $5K’s into one $10K on Sunday. Jones grabbed the W on Sunday and both big checks in the process.

10 – Randy Rice

Randy Rice extended his $5K final round streak to three straight. After making back-to-back $5K finals last weekend, Rice raced to another $5K final over the weekend. Rice has two wins and a runner-up in those final round appearances.
