1 – Cory Gulitti

Cory Gulitti nearly pulled off the clean sweep at the King of the Creek over the weekend. Gulitti split and quit the Friday $10K with teammate Bailey Ferraro. He followed with a semifinal finish in the Saturday $25K and closed the weekend with a $25K victory on Sunday. It’s worth noting that Bailey also made the semifinals on Saturday. Needless to say, it was an extremely successful weekend for Team McCarty.

2 – Scotty Richardson

A week after winning the SFG World Series $15K Warm Up race and making a semifinal appearance in the $75 grander, Scotty Richardson raced to another big win this past weekend. Racing at the SFG 350 at Cedar Falls, Scotty stopped Andy Schmall in the $25K final to add yet another big check to his collection. This was the second straight week he landed in the #2 spot on the Top 10.

3 – TG Paschal

TG Paschal ran himself in the Top ET final at Piedmont Dragway over the weekend. For the first time in his career, Paschal put both his dragster and his ’69 Camaro in the final round on the same day.

4 – Jeff Cheney

Jeff Cheney also parked two cars in the winners circle over the weekend after winning Super Pro and Pro on the same day. The Team Seafoam and Bishop’s Performance driver won Super Pro in is dragster and won Pro with his Stock Eliminator Buick.

5 – Travis Buth

Travis Buth has been on a heater lately. He locks down the five spot this week after winning Stock at the Norwalk LODRS event. In the two weeks prior, Buth raced to a runner-up in Stock at the Indy LODRS and won twice in three days at the Coles County big bucks race. Travis has accomplished this in his slow O/SA Mustang which are notoriously hard cars to win in due to their lack of HP and inconsistent nature.

6 – Tyler Bohannon

Tyler Bohannon makes another appearance on the Top 10 List after winning Wally’s on back-to-back weeks. A week ago Tyler drove his Stock Eliminator Corvette to the winners circle at the Sportsnationals Open in Bowling Green. Last weekend he parked his Super Stock Camaro in the winners circle at the Norwalk LODRS event.

7 – Keith Mayers

Keith Mayers continues to impress in his Super Street Porsche. After back-to-back Wally winning weekends at the Cecil County and Maple Grove Lucas Oil divisional races, Mayers raced to a runner-up finish at the NHRA New England Nationals on Sunday. He was -.005 red in the final but nailed the index with a 10.900 to come up just short of the trifecta.

8 – Derek Simon

Derek Simon jumps to the #8 spot on the Top 10 List this week after going three for three at Muncie Dragway. Simon won the 11.50 Index class on Friday, Sportsman on Saturday, and closed the weekend with a King of the Track victory on Sunday!

9 – Drew Smith

Drew Smith makes the Top 10 List this week after finding himself in two finals at London Dragway. Smith took runner-up honors in the Top ET class before racing to the 64-car Shootout final where he split and quit.

10 – Hunny Wayne

Hunter Patton makes his first Top 10 appearance in a while after racing to two final rounds on Saturday at the ACE Summer Slam. In just his second weekend of racing this year, Hunter took two entries down to 5 cars where he raced himself. He went on to turn it red in the $20K final. Later on, he also made the finals of the dragster shootout only to come up short again. In all, he made 23 passes on Saturday alone. Watch out because this could be the start of another run like he enjoyed over the past few seasons.
